The objective of this investment is to ensure water security in the districts of Nicosia, Larnaca and Limassol.
In Larnaca, a 12,000 m³ water reservoir at Klavdia, as well as the landscaping of the surrounding area, have been completed. The new reservoir enables the Larnaca Water Board to ensure a continuous 24-hour water supply to its customers in the event of supply interruptions. Construction works were completed in May 2024.
The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding that amounts to EUR 4 million for this project.
