This measure has funded 17 projects that promote the use of timber as a climate-friendly building material. The funding has supported innovation clusters and consulting activities with the aim of accelerating the development, introduction and dissemination of innovative technologies, processes, products and services (digital transformation) for greater use of timber as a building material.
The funding also aims to improve cooperation between companies, institutions, science and research. The measure has helped to cushion the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and at the same time invest in a sustainable and climate-neutral Europe.
