Work is already underway to transform an old primary school in Abrantes into a municipal daycare centre with capacity for more than 100 children, creating a further 40 jobs, in an investment of 1.9 million euros.
The work includes the implementation of energy efficiency measures, such as the replacement of all existing frames with a more efficient one, the installation of photovoltaic panels and other equipment production of renewable energy for self-consumption, and the application of thermal insulation on roofs, walls or floors.
