Description
The purpose of the project was to provide the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Greece (MoEF) a set of tools and recommendations for the implementation of green tax reforms, while enhancing its analytical and modelling capacity.
The key achievements of this project were the formulation of green tax policy recommendations, followed by a roadmap for the implementation of the reform, as well as the development of Calculated General Equilibrium (CGE) model to assess the social, economic and revenue impacts of the policy recommendations. The topic was green tax policy and public finance. The beneficiary was the Ministry of Finance.
