Enhancing risk-based regulatory delivery and inter-regional cooperation on food safety and environmental protection enforcement to increase regional development

The European Commission aims to support risk-based regulatory delivery, foster inter-regional cooperation, improve IT tools, and strengthen institutional coordination across the 3 Italian Regions of Campania, Friuli-Giulia-Venezia and Lombardy. The long-term objective is to facilitate investments and economic growth, enhance protection of public goods, environment, food, and veterinary sectors, and increase trust between businesses and public authorities.
