With € 103 021, the Recovery and Resilience Facility supports the project, whose main objective is to develop the first ever zero-waste water desalination system that is targeted towards brackish water industrial users.
The company already has a prototype available that has been tested in-house in a controlled environment.
To reach the main objective, we have defined two specific objectives to be completed during the project:
- Finalise the recirculation system that will allow to move from the current state of the art of 60 % recovery rate to 95%;
- Validate the product performance in real life environment to ensure that the developments have been successful and provide a reference pilot user case to speed up future international sales and marketing activities.
The project is expected to be completed by June 2023.
