The aim of the project is to automate and digitize production through investment in a CNC turning center. The machine upgrade enables the machining of complex metal parts in small and medium-sized batches and greater autonomy. The company’s goals are focused on improving efficiency and sustainable development. Productivity has increased, as value added per employee rose from €23,583 to €41,133. Material efficiency has improved by reducing raw material consumption per unit of product from 1.44 kg to 1.22 kg, meaning less material is used to produce the same quantity of products. Energy efficiency also increased, as energy consumption per kilogram of product decreased from 2.734 kWh to 2.289 kWh, contributing to lower costs and a reduced environmental impact.
