Training for energy consultants

The education series on social energy consulting (“Weiterbildungsreihe Soziale Energieberatung”) offers training for social workers and energy consultants who advise low-income households affected by energy poverty. They are given energy-related skills so that they can provide social energy advice to households at risk of poverty. 

In particular, this special training track teaches the skills needed to counsel low-income and energy-poor households. Another element o the reform is the creation of a common platform, in cooperation with the Länder and social organisations, to coordinate flanking measures against energy poverty, including funding and consultancy services for low-income households.
