Support to vulnerable persons and prevention of institutionalisation (Mission 5, Component 2, Investment 1)
The Italy's Recovery and Resilience Plan contributes through this measure to support vulnerable persons and prevent institutionalisation. The investment will include the following interventions:
(I) support parenting skills and prevent vulnerability of families and children;
(II) support independent living and deinstitutionalisation of the elderly;
(III) strengthen home-based social services to ensure early discharge and prevent hospitalisation;
(IV) strengthen social services and prevent burnout of social workers.
The investment is financed by Italy’s Recovery and Resilience plan by EUR 66 million.
As part of this investment, the project involves the construction of infrastructure projects in two housing units provided by two municipalities in the Aosta Valley (Quart and Montjovet) and the start of services for the management of housing projects in favor of project beneficiaries.
It is to date made the subscription of the agreement with the Ministry for the realization of the activities, so like the approval DGR regarding the conventions with the Municipalities for the realization of the infrastructural participations. The agreement between the Regional Administration and the Municipality of Quart and the Municipality of Montjovet for the realization of the infrastructural activities and the infrastructural participations is currently underway.
The NRRP funds allocated to this project amount to EUR 710,000.
