Supporting educational establishments with high risk of drop-outs - Iași County

  • Project

The goal of the investment is to reduce the school dropout rate at Ciortesti Gymnasium School in Iași County.

This initiative, part of Romania's National Program for Reducing School Dropout, focuses on supporting students at risk of academic failure.

Activities included remedial learning in subjects like mathematics, Romanian, English, French, physics, and chemistry, coupled with counseling and guidance services for students.

Teachers also underwent training on parental education, mentoring, and coaching.

State of Implementation:

Ciortesti Gymnasium School has been actively implementing the initiative since January.

The program, funded with 198,892 euros from the EU's Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), has provided essential resources and services to address the academic challenges faced by students and educators.

The school has witnessed a transformative impact on student engagement and access to educational tools, elevating their overall educational experience.
