The projects will be implemented in polyclinics, health centers, outpatient parts of hospitals that provide state-paid health services in at least 10 programs.
At least 40 medical treatment institutions throughout Latvia will receive for funding, investing in ensuring accessibility of the fund and its own funds, improvement of integrated service infrastructure, improvement of epidemiological safety requirements, improvement of ventilation systems, etc.
By implementing investments to strengthen the infrastructure of medical treatment institutions, access to outpatient health care services will be improved for residents throughout Latvia, thereby relieving inpatient facilities.
Patients will be provided with better quality services and a more accessible environment.
The total amount of investment is EUR 10 285 000, including the European Recovery Fund funding of EUR 8 500 000 and national funding of at least EUR 1 785 000.
The deadline for the implementation of the projects is August 2026.
