The aim of the project is to increase cyber security at the national level. The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 2.96 million.
A unified platform for reporting security incidents and an Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC) will be established, which will be connected via a trust network to the operational-level bodies of the national cybersecurity system. A cybersecurity accreditation framework will be established within the national accreditation body. In the area of prevention, cybersecurity materials will be developed for inclusion in educational programs at the primary and secondary school levels. Model security documentation and security measures will be prepared for organizations in the private and public sectors to increase resilience to cyber threats and improve response to security incidents.
The secondary objectives of the investment are:
- strengthening the Security Operations Center (SOC) at the Ministry of Digital Transformation (MDP);
- strengthening the SIGOV-CERT response center at URSIV;
- establishing a comprehensive organizational framework for cybersecurity, which will provide modern cybersecurity technologies and tools to respond to cybersecurity threats in real time and enable their shared use by the MDP SOC and SIGOV-CERT;
- developing cybersecurity topics for inclusion in educational programs at the elementary and secondary school levels;
- preparing model security documentation and security measures for organizations of various sizes in the private and public sectors.
