Social and economic resilience to climate-related disasters in the Republic of Slovenia

As part of this investment, infrastructure, software, and other conditions will be upgraded to strengthen preparedness and capabilities and ensure a coordinated response in the event of climate-related disasters, particularly wildfires. A nationwide center for large wildfires will be established, where up to 1,000 individuals will be trained by the end of May 2026 through newly designed training programs. Estimated investment value: 3.1 million euros, of which 2.11 million euros will come from the Recovery and Resilience Facility.
