Small water reservoir including a pool and a wetland in the municipality of Slavičky

The water reservoir was built in place of the existing reservoir, partly buried under the existing terrain and partly created by raising the water through an earthen embankment.

Landscaping has been carried out including extensive planting of a bio-centre (native tree and shrub species), the creation of a quiet walking area overlooking the water body.

The landscaping was made from the remaining soil removed from the site of the water bodies.

Stumps and trunks of felled trees were used to make beetle boxes.
