Simplified access to digital public administration

Sub-investment 1.4.3 Adoption scale up of PagoPA platform services and the “IO” app. 

Italy’s Recovery and Resilience Plan provides for the facilitation the user experience of digital services of the Municipality of Taranto by adopting the “AppIO”, a public web application that allows citizens to access public administration services in a direct and simplified manner. 

The digital tool implementation work started in February 2023 and by the end of December 2023, the account of the Municipality of Taranto will offer access to a wide public administration services: certificates, payment of local taxes, useful information on public services, opening hours of public offices, etc. 

Italy’s Recovery and Resilience plan provides  funding of EUR 54.950.
