The Becherov Shared Services Centre, which has its administrative headquarters in the District Office building in Bardejov, is available to 85 municipalities in the region. The joint office has been operated by the municipality of Becherov since 1990, and the mayor heads the joint office for 85 municipalities.
They responded to the Ministry of the Interior's call to establish a new Shared Services Centre in Bardejov in order to increase the comfort of their employees' jobs.
The premises of the District Office in Bardejov have been renovated and equipped with modern information and telecommunications technology. The Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic contributed €637,527 from the Recovery and Resilience Plan to the establishment of the center, and personnel costs are covered by European funds.
