The Housing Fund of the Republic of Slovenia purchased 28 newly constructed serviced apartments in Radlje ob Dravi, an addition to the public rental stock.
The Hmelina facility is designed to be energy efficient and will provide comfortable living at low operating costs. The building has 28 serviced apartments and a place for socializing. The four apartments on the ground floor have their own atrium. All apartments all be equipped with kitchens, wardrobes and sanitary equipment in the bathrooms. Storage room is provided in the basement of the building. Heating and preparation of hot water is with heat pumps located on the roof of the building.
The facility is connected to all necessary economic public infrastructure. The parking lot of the block is actively greened and 24 parking spaces are provided on the ground. Pedestrian paths are separated from traffic surfaces and are equipped with urban equipment (benches, baskets, lighting). A covered outdoor bicycle shed provided and an outdoor space for separating waste are provided.
The Recovery and Resilience Facility provided funding of EUR 1.6 million, while the total value of the investment is EUR 3.6 million. The apartments were inaugurated in June 2024.
