Restoration of the Albi Cathedral

The project is part of the “Cathedral plan”, which aims at financing the renovation of historic monuments in order to ensure their lasting viability, and as such contribute to promoting local tourism. 

The works performed in the Cathedral of Saint Cecilia in Albi consisted in meeting all the requirements in terms of conservation standards (lighting, waterproofing of windows, safety, etc), in order to ensure the preservation of the master pieces of the Cathedral, and in particular the treasury. 

The works were finalised in December 2022 and the treasury room re-opened to the public in February 2023.
