The purpose of the project is to establish an adequate system of wastewater discharge and treatment in the agglomerations of Renče – West, Renče – East and Šempeter pri Gorici.
The main objective of the project is to build three faecal sewers of a total length of 4,968 m and three sections of rainfall sewage over a total length of 586 m. With the investment, the municipality will reduce negative environmental impacts (water, soil), provide basic conditions for a cost-effective urban wastewater discharge service for users, including ensuring energy neutrality of the system. During the parallel construction of a water supply and a faecal sewer, adequate drainage of rainfall water will also be regulated in one section.
The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 1 million, while the total value of the investment is EUR 2.5 million.
The project started in 2022 and will be finalised by 2024.
