With the support of EUR 10 million from the Recovery and Resilience Facility, Bulgaria is improve the social inclusion of persons with permanent disabilities by promoting personal mobility and accessibility.
The investment consists of providing assisting devices, including software
programmes, based on the specific needs of the beneficiaries. Beneficiaries shall also
be trained to learn how to deploy the assisting devices. This investment shall reach at least 3300 persons with permanent disabilities.
The procedure for the selection of candidates for the provision of high-tech aids ran from 17.05.2024 - 17.07.2024.
The investment is expected to be completed in 2024.
