The measure aims to encourage the development of the local economy and the creation of local economic structures to help the inhabitants of the 300 most disadvantaged municipalities.
The measure will contribute to the integration of people in the municipalities into the labour market and improve job opportunities in the targeted municipalities.
The investment will involve at least 10 000 people in job socialisation programmes for a minimum of 6 months.
The programmes will support the labour market integration of programme participants through training activities and mentoring.
The recruitment of employees willing to participate in the programme has already started.
One element of the work capacity development is the garden programmes, which include the development of household management and the creation of tank gardens and model gardens.
The launch of the garden programme has already started during the preparatory phase.
The project will be completed by 30. June, 2026.
