  • Project

A total investment of 670.1 million euros has been made available, included in the Transformation and Resilience Recovery Plan which will enable the creation of more than 65,000 publicly-owned places.

This investment is part of Component 21New windowExternal link, opens in new window for the modernization and digitalization of the education system.

Boosting schooling from 0 to 3 years of age is one of the main educational investments of the Recovery Plan, as participation at this stage is one of the most important predictors of improved outcomes and future educational performance of children, contributing to equitable and quality education.

Furthermore, the availability and accessibility of these places contributes to equal opportunities and social inclusion.

In its implementation, priority will be given to the access of students in areas with a higher incidence of poverty risk or social exclusion and the extension to rural areas, so it is not only an investment in social welfare but also in territorial balance.
