Project objectives:
This project focuses on five strategic areas for the Technical University of Sofia: Digitisation, Connectivity and Information Security; Intelligent Systems and Artificial Intelligence.
Industry 4.0; Mechatronics, Clean Technologies, Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency Management; New Technologies for Green Energy and Energy Efficiency; Engineering Technologies for Healthy Living.
The aim is to increase the quality of scientific research in the five strategic areas for TU - Sofia, to focus the scientific activity towards international visibility and integration with leading institutions and scientific networks, to increase the prestige and socio-economic role of TU - Sofia in society, to actively cooperate with and support the business community, and to make a significant contribution to achieving sustainable economic growth and improving the quality of life in the country through the training of highly qualified specialists.
