Prescribing culture for mental health issues

The project concerns the establishment of an organizational framework for the integration of Cultural Prescription as a complementary therapeutic approach for individuals with mental health conditions or psychological burden resulting from chronic illnesses.

The project includes:

• The design and pilot implementation of the Cultural Prescription programme.
• A study on the impact of patients’ engagement with art and culture.
• The development of processes and participation mechanisms for both patients and cultural organizations.
• Monitoring and evaluation of the programme with the aim of its continuous optimization.
• Development of appropriate tools for integrating the initiative into the national electronic intangible prescription platform.

The objective of the project is to establish an organizational framework that will facilitate the successful integration of Cultural Prescription into the mental healthcare system.
