With an investment of €10.1 million, works included restoring and upgrading critical infrastructure such as the autopsy room and pharmacy, expanding morgue capacity, and improving facilities for handling infectious waste and medical education. The upgrades significantly strengthened diagnostic, treatment, and operational capabilities within the hospital.
