The objective of the investment is to increase added value in tourism through sustainable development.
The investment consists of the construction of Paradiso Guesthouse with the extension of an existing facility in which the restaurant is located and will continue to operate during and after construction. On the first floor, 15 new rooms will be set up over the entire surface, with four stars categorisation, two of which will be adapted to persons with reduced mobility. The total additional area will be 1,320 square metres.
A reorganisation of the car park will also take place and a solar power plant will be installed on the roof of the facility. By the end of 2026, the investment will create at least three new jobs and an increase value added per employee of more than 25 % compared to 2021.
The investor will acquire an eco-label for accommodation facilities and will meet all the energy efficiency requirements of the facility, also supported by wooden panel construction and energy rehabilitation of the existing part of the building. The project will ensure sustainable mobility and social sustainability (connecting with other suppliers of tourist products in the Brežic area and the wider Posavje area).
The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 0.9 million, while the total value of the investment is EUR 2 million. The project will be finalised in October 2025.
