The Office for the Protection of Whistleblowers was established under Act No. 54/2019 Coll. on the Protection of Whistleblowers of Anti-Social Activities in 2019. However, it was only operationalised after the election of its first Chairperson; we opened our doors in September 2021. The RRF supported investments in the functionality and complete technical equipment of the Whistleblower Protection Office in the amount of EUR 1.7 million.
