The project aims to improve accessibility to the Riachos Industrial Zone involved an investment of 5.4 million euros (ME), with the aim of improving a section of the ER243 and which included the “construction of two new roundabouts, improving access conditions” to Riachos, and the “creation of a new road”, approximately 1.3 km long, “directly connecting to the Entroncamento Industrial Zone and which will open to traffic today”.
