New Ocean Atmosphere Modelling System with High Spatial and Temporal Resolution - “Atlântico”.
This system, funded by the RRP, makes it possible to multiply the computational capacity of the IPMA by 20, significantly improving the forecast quality of the models used to issue meteorological warnings, forecasts for maritime meteorology, support for aeronautical meteorology, meteorological indices of fire risk as well as in many other sectors.
