New metro line in the city of Toulouse

This project consists of building a new metro line 27 kilometres long in the Toulouse metropolitan area, with 21 stops including 5 interconnections with railway stations, offering a clean mobility solution to more than 200,000 inhabitants per day. 

It will contribute to decarbonising the transport sector, by avoiding 28 700 tons of CO2 each year, i.e. the equivalent of green-house gas emissions of a city of 7,400 inhabitants, and to strengthening the mobility offer for commuters, in particular in the airport area where major aviation companies (e.g. Airbus and Safran) are located.
