National roll-out of ‘Frühe Hilfen’ (early childhood interventions) for socially disadvantaged pregnant women, their young children and families

The investment receives EUR 15 million from the Recovery and Resilience Facility. It aims to improve the development and health outcomes of children and parents throughout the life course, foster preventative approaches and secure children rights to protection and good health. 

In addition to everyday practical support, "Early Childhood Interventions" contribute to promoting parenting skills of (expecting) mothers and fathers. 

"Early Childhood Interventions" includes a variety of both general and specific services, with low-threshold access. Bodies suitable for the regional implementation have been identified and were contracted, the regions entrusted ensuring national rollout.
