The support is available for promoting the development of smart and secure energy systems (including smart grids and it systems and installations); implementation of services contributing to a low-carbon economy and climate resilience (including the implementation of awareness raising measures); promoting the use of renewable energy sources, electromobility and energy efficiency; implementation of the project “Jāņciems”, including the construction of the main dispatching and data centre, as well as the development of the main data centre and backup data centre data connection and information technology infrastructure solution, ensuring the planning and management of working modes of renewable energy producers.
Ministry of Economics has awarded 2 contracts for investment projects and the projects shall be implemented by May 31, 2026.
The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 80 million.
