Modernisation of the educational environment in the Secondary School "Letets Hristo Toprakchiev", city of Bozhurishte

The aim of the project, financed with EUR 1,5 million from the Recovery and Resilience Facility, is to achieve a complete modernization of the educational base of the "Letec Hristo Topkrakchiev" Secondary School, Bozhurishte.

The school is currently located in three buildings. Another building has been geven for school`s educational base, in order to improve the educational process, the renovation of which is within the scope of the current proposal.

There are three above-ground floors and a semi-underground basement floor. It is public municipal property. 

The three above-ground floors are provided for the school, and the basement floor, which has a separate entrance and is designated as an independent object in the building, is provided for the use of the SNC "Children's Association - 2017", for the purpose of developing activities in benefit of disadvantaged people, according to the subject of the Association's activity.

The activities within the scope of the current project proposal include the main construction and assembly activities for the implementation of the prescribed mandatory measures in the technical inspections for the building for individual parts, as well as for the determined measures included in the energy survey, entered as mandatory energy-saving measures from the Energy Report efficiency. In addition, it is planned to provide an accessible architectural environment, reconstruction of the first, second and third floors of the building, with the implementation of a new roof structure, the separation of a gym, reconstruction of the sanitary facilities, vertical layout.

Since part of the building is not used for the purposes of the educational institution under the project, the applicant undertakes to repair the entire building, and the part of the building that is not used for the purposes of the educational institution of the investment proposal will be financed with funds outside funds from the Recovery and Sustainability Mechanism and is included in the project budget as co-financing.
