The aim of the project, financed with EUR 1,28 million from the Recovery and Resilience Facility, is to provide conditions for equal access to education for students from Bolyarovo municipality by providing a favorable, inclusive, innovative, energy-efficient, supportive and accessible educational environment that contributes to increasing the motivation to learn and to improving the educational results of the students.
School SU "Dr. P. Beron" is the only educational institution on the territory of the municipality, which provides an opportunity to receive secondary education for children and youth from twenty settlements.
In order to achieve the goal of the project, it is planned to carry out two activities:
- Major repair, basic renovation of the school's educational environment to acquire a complete renewed look of the educational institution. It is planned to introduce energy efficiency measures, including the construction of a photovoltaic plant on the roof of the educational institution, the construction of an air conditioning system for heating and cooling the premises, replacement of the floodlights, etc.
The roof will be repaired, the windows will be replaced with energy effective, the compromised flooring in the premises will be replaced, a STEM center will be dedicated, the school's sports field will be improved, an accessible environment will be provided, a building automation and control system will be introduced. - Delivery and installation of equipment and furniture for the school's classrooms in order to completely change the appearance and conditions for experiencing the educational process.
