The primary objective of the project is to develop and innovate open and interoperable cloud, edge, and interconnect technologies that will enable the construction of highly reliable, low-latency, and secure, geographically distributed infrastructures for critical services and applications.
The project aims to develop geographically distributed cloud and edge infrastructures that support the coexistence of containerized and non-containerized virtualizations, multi-cloud (meta)orchestration, and lifecycle management automation while ensuring service quality and cybersecurity. In addition, the project includes the development of virtualized, mobile, and/or wired network services for connecting local or remote cloud and edge nodes as well as IoT devices.
