The aim of the project is to expand the capacity of the existing production facility by investing in a new CNC lathe and an oil mist filtration system, which will enable the company to achieve technological advancement, increased productivity, and a safer and cleaner working environment. The new equipment will reduce downtime, errors, and scrap, while increasing machining precision and product quality. The project contributes to the company’s sustainable development by reducing energy and material consumption, increasing the use of recycled raw materials, and minimizing environmental impacts, bringing the company closer to its goal of carbon neutrality.
The company’s goals are focused on increasing efficiency and reducing production costs. Productivity will improve by raising value added per employee from €68,210 to €79,067, resulting in greater financial returns on labor. Material efficiency will increase by reducing metal consumption per kilogram of product from 1.28 kg to 1.07 kg, thereby lowering material costs. Energy efficiency will improve by reducing energy consumption per kilogram of product from 0.887 kWh to 0.72 kWh, resulting in savings on electricity costs and contributing to sustainable operations.
