The IPCEI-CIS’ main objective is the creation of an entirely new decentralised environment, which will enable software infrastructure for the advanced use of data processing resources from Cloud to Edge.
The Railway-X project aims to develop innovative data-driven solutions and software services specifically for rail vehicle manufacturers, suppliers, operators, maintenance companies and dismantling facilities.
These solutions are intended to enable sustainable approaches such as circular economy strategies (e.g. reuse, repair, refurbish, remanufacture, recycle) and new data-driven business models.
