The measure will contribute to climate change adaptation through the implementation of projects protecting against the risk of flooding.
The measure consists of investments in flood risk reduction infrastructure, including rebuilding and renewal of polder pumping stations, renewal of protective dikes and a canal.
A total of 21 national amelioration systems facilities throughout Latvia: eight pump stations, 12 in protective dams and one canal.
