The main purpose of the project is to provide adequate space for the functioning of the institution in one location and thus adequate areas for children and adolescents with functional challenges, which will allow for a better quality learning environment.
A newly built facility is a highly energy-efficient building with a primary energy demand that is more than 20 % lower than the nearly zero-energy building requirement. The project includes a comprehensive renovated kitchen area, an extension for the dining room and professional classrooms, as well as an extension for an outpatient and multipurpose room. 686 m² are newly built and 183 m² of surfaces are restored.
The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 3.1 million, while the total value of the investment is EUR 4.3 million.
The project started in November 2021 and will be finalised by the end of 2024.
