The goal of the investment is to support the construction of Inobat’s new battery gigafactory in Valladolid, reinforcing Spain’s electric-vehicle value chain.
The project will be implemented through a €712 million industrial investment, supported by €53.8 million in grants and a €456,000 loan under the third call of the Strategic Project for the Electric and Connected Vehicle.
Expected production capacity is 32 GWh in 2027, reaching full operation in 2029.
The measure has already been awarded and is progressing toward implementation
