The purpose of the investment is to install solar power plants with a total capacity of at least 3 MW on a total of 30 to 50 buildings. The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 1.45 million.
As part of the project, the City of Ljubljana will install solar power plants on the roofs of public buildings, with the aim of contributing to a sustainable future and energy independence for the city.
The construction of solar power plants on the roofs of kindergartens, schools, health centers, and cultural and sports facilities is a key measure on the path to carbon neutrality by 2030, to which Ljubljana has committed itself in the Mission 100 Climate Neutral and Smart Cities program.
The project is being implemented as a public-private partnership involving private partners Resalta d.o.o., RES ERP d.o.o., and Energetika Ljubljana d.o.o.
