At the National Laboratory, research and development activities are carried out to assess and analyse domestic threats of veterinary and public health significance and to address them, including the development of recommendations and guidelines, diagnostics, vaccines and medicines.
The activities will include the establishment of industrial links with national and international actors in the veterinary and food chain safety fields, and the training of innovation-sensitive research and teaching staff with a multidisciplinary approach.
The project receives EUR 7 130 066 funding. It has to be completed by the end of February, 2026.
