The main objective of the National Laboratory for Agro-Biotechnology and Precision Breeding for Food Security is to address the complex challenges faced in agriculture. The National Laboratory encompasses the key elements of the agricultural ecosystem, focusing on the microbe-plant-animal relationship.
The research outcomes benefit animal husbandry, crop production, the food industry, and veterinary health by enhancing food security, as well as the safety and efficiency of production.
Additionally, the Laboratory actively participates in national higher education, contributing to the training of future generations of scientists and facilitating knowledge transfer. A projekt 2022. március 1. és 2026. február 28. között valósul meg, összesen 5 mérföldkőre bontva, és jelenleg a 4. mérföldkő időszakában jár.
The project received approximately EUR 6.15 million from the RRF and will be completed by the end of February, 2026.
