Establishment of cluster for treating infectious diseases in Kaunas clinics

The main goal of the investment project is to improve the quality of infectious disease services to Lithuanian residents and improve diagnostics of infectious diseases based on the most advanced and innovative technologies, providing conditions for the participation in the international scientific projects in the field of virology research infrastructure networks.

After the implementation of the project, a new tertiary-level infectious diseases center will be built, equipment necessary for the provision of infectious services will be purchased.

The project will benefit from EUR38 million of RRF funding.
