The project aims to renovate the IT system of the University of Primorska to support the administrative processes for comprehensive digital operations.
The project entails the purchase of server equipment and establishment of a data centre at the Livade 1.0 facility and an auxiliary (secondary) data centre at the Faculty of Mathematics, Science and Information Technology. A communication network at Livade 1.0 and a fibre connection to the new spatial sites and connectivity with the data centre will also be established. ICT equipment will be procured for the Livade 1.0 facility and for the University Library and Documentation System. The overhaul of the IT system to support administrative processes will also be completed.
The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 933,700, while the total value of the investment is EUR 2 million.
The project started in July 2022 and will be finalised by September 2025.
