Energy efficiency improvement measures of the Civic Theater's theater halls

  • Project

Improve energy efficiency, in cinema, theatres and museums  (Mission 1, Component 3, Investment 1.3)

Italy’s Recovery and Resilience Plan provides for the improvement of the energy efficiency of buildings linked to the cultural and creative sector. They are often found in outdated, energy inefficient facilities that generate high maintenance costs related to air-conditioning, lighting, communication and safety. The investment finances actions to improve the energy efficiency of Italian museums, cinemas and theatres (both public and private).

The investment is financed by Italy’s Recovery and Resilience plan by EUR 210 million.

The project "energy efficiency improvement measures of the Civic Theater's theater halls" is part of this investment and it aims to enhance the energy efficiency of the theater call “TEATRO CIVICO” in the city center of Vercelli, with the goal of reducing energy consumption and creating a facility with a reduced environmental footprint.

In detail, the intervention involves replacing the windows on the interior side of the building, restoring the windows on the external facade, and applying thermal plaster to ensure improved thermal insulation.

The total cost amounts to EUR 381.405 included in the RRF and EUR 88.594 allocated by the Italian government to mitigate the cost increase resulting from the rise in raw material prices.

The project is on his way ,work began in Q1 2023 and they will be finish by the end of Q4 2023.
