At its site in Lilienfeld (Lower Austria), Neuman Aluminium produces aluminum components that are used worldwide in the automotive industry, mechanical engineering, the construction industry, electrical engineering and the packaging industry.
The aim of the project is to replace the natural gas previously used for preheating furnaces by certified green electricity and thus to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
It is expected that greenhouse gas emissions will be reduced by 1,424 tons per year. The project is currently in the construction phase.
