The intention of the reform is to create a credible and transparent framework for the provision of telehealth services using ICT (telemedicine including mHealth), including:
- Analysis and proposal of legislative measures regulating the status of telemedicine among different forms of health care in accordance with European and Czech law,
- designing a system of evaluation or assessment of interventions using telemedicine, recommended clinical procedures, their integration into the system of health services and determination of reimbursement for procedures and medical devices + related proposal of a system solution for registration and reimbursement for the use of mobile health applications (mHealth),
- design and implementation of a model of a regional/national system (platform) for making telemedicine tools available in principle to all healthcare providers and their patients,
- validation of the proposed methods and systems in pilot projects.
