The project involved the full seismic, structural, and energy-efficient reconstruction of the pre–World War I maternity and gynecology clinic of KBC Zagreb in Petrova Street, severely damaged in the 2020 earthquake. The 9,593 m² protected building was fully renovated and modernized, with upgraded medical infrastructure and equipment. The €34 million investment (of which 19.6 from the RRF) restored full hospital functionality and improved healthcare capacity and quality of care.
