The project “Creation of the eKultūra Platform” digitises 71 cultural heritage sites in Lithuania, covering around 380 buildings, structures, and other 3D objects. This is the first initiative of this scale in the country.
Both exteriors and interiors are captured through 3D scanning. Outputs include point clouds and derived products such as 3D mesh models, 360° images, and orthophotographs, along with metadata and paradata. The digitised objects are made available on the ekultura.lt platform. EUR 20 393 484 was allocated from the Recovery and Resilience Facility. The woek was completed by May 2026.
